Introduction

The B.Sc. Biotechnology program at Smt. Indira Gandhi College provides an interdisciplinary education integrating Biology, Chemistry, and Technology to understand and utilize biological systems for industrial, agricultural, environmental, and medical applications.

The course blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on laboratory experience, including training in molecular biology, genetic engineering, bioinformatics, and bioprocess technology, preparing students for careers in research, healthcare, agriculture, and biotechnology industries.

Program Objectives

To impart fundamental and applied knowledge of biological sciences and biotechnological techniques.
