M.Sc. Botany

Introduction

The M.Sc. Botany program at Smt. Indira Gandhi College is an advanced postgraduate course that provides in-depth knowledge of plant science, encompassing taxonomy, physiology, biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, ecology, and biotechnology.

The program integrates theoretical learning with laboratory experiments, fieldwork, and research, preparing students for careers in academia, research, agriculture, and environmental conservation.The course follows the Common Minimum Syllabus prescribed by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, aligned with the NEP 2020 CBCS framework.
